The website is owned and operated by Vegus Foods Ltd. We manage your data in compliance with the EU GDPR. This means the following:
Your personal data will be used to provide the products and information offered through our website to you, for billing and order fulfillment.
If you sign up to our newsletter we may use your email address to send you information about products or services. You can opt out of these at any point and you can ask for personal data to stop being recorded at any time.
We do not like using cookies and restrict their use to those that are necessary for the order process. Typically these cookies are designed to make it easier for you (eg, if you want to create an account so that you don’t have to re-enter your details for subsequent orders).
We monitor traffic to our site using Google Analytics and have access to the non-personal information. This includes the website address which led to you finding our website and which pages are most visited. This helps us adjust our information to make it more relevant, it also helps us understand which pages are most used so we can make your visit more helpful.
We only disclose your personal data to our employees and contracted associates and to third parties who are involved in fulfilling your order (eg. couriers, order processing centre). We never share or sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We may be required to pass on your information for the purposes of investigation into fraud or other crime. We may also disclose non-identifiable statistics about visitors to our website, such as visitor numbers, in order to explain our services to potential business partners and service providers for other lawful purposes.
3. Product information
We make all shipments by the postal services (Royal Mail or An Post, Ireland). Tracking is not available. We sell to any customer whose local postal service is reliable. The list of countries we do not sell to can be found on our website but this list may not be comprehensive so please contact us before ordering to check we can supply.
Import Duties & Taxes
In most countries the International Postal Treaties allow shipments to enter without going through customs and without paying local taxes. However, this is subject to limits set by each country. Please note that some countries charge import duties and taxes and so you should be aware if this is the case in your country.
When you order please consider if your local postal service is reliable and if taxes or duty may be payable. If there are such costs you will need to arrange local payment.
Vegus Foods Ltd is not responsible for any additional charges that your country or postal service may impose. Vegus Foods Ltd is not responsible for failed deliveries due to an unreliable postal service in your country.
4. Right to cancel
Cancellation of Subscription
You have the right to cancel your recurring subscription in writing using the contact form on this site without having to give a reason at any time on the day of placing your first order and within 14 (fourteen) days thereafter. Please note that if you do not give us this notice, we may have already sent out your next subscription. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any sum debited to us that is no longer due will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 (thirty) days of your cancellation.
However, if you have ordered and received product and have changed your mind so that you no longer want it, you can return it to us within 7 (seven) days for a full refund of product cost (excluding any delivery cost that was not included in the original price) as long as the product remains unopened, intact, clean and in a resellable condition. You must send the product back to us within 7 (seven) days of receipt of product to our contact address (published on our website). Unwanted product must be returned at your own cost. You must also ensure that the juices are adequately packed to minimise the risk of damage occurring in transit to ensure the returned product remains in the same condition as you received. We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.
Please note that if we have delivered incorrect items to you or the items are faulty, you do not need to return them to us, simply contact us within 7 (seven) days of receipt of the product. We may ask you to send us a photograph of the damaged product and/or packaging.
All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. (Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 (twenty four) hours after an email is sent or 7 (seven) days after the date of posting of any letter.) In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressees.
These terms are governed by Irish law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by Irish law. You and we both agree that the courts of Ireland (Eire) will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in the EU you may also bring proceedings to the European Courts.
